Steel Systems

We supply steel systems for primary heating and mechanical distribution where larger bore routes and higher service loading make steel the right choice over copper, stainless, or plastic. These systems sit on main flow-and-return and core building-services distribution lines feeding plant and terminal services across commercial buildings.

Steel Tube EN10255 / BS1387

We supply carbon steel tube for threaded and welded mechanical services where steel is selected over copper or plastic on larger bore pipework and higher duty systems. These tubes are widely used across heating distribution, plant room installations, and service mains where durability and compatibility with threaded fittings or welded fabrication are required.

Applications

Examples include:

  • LTHW heating distribution systems
  • Mechanical services pipework
  • Compressed air distribution systems
  • Fire protection pipework

Supply Support

Core steel tube lines are held in stock in common nominal bore sizes, with additional sizes sourced through established supply networks with confirmed lead times.
